Work with Vidas Plenas in the Limonada area of Guatemala City. This is a highly populated area with few public services, which suffers from some of the worst gang violence and associated problems in Guatemala. Vidas Plenas has three Academias within the area, offering educational support plus lunch to children and young people. They are looking for support in their teaching staff (values, English, sports, crafts, music) as well as psychological or social work support. They are also looking for an administrative assistant for their scholarship programme, helping teenagers to stay in education.

Puedes trabajar con ‘Vidas Plenas’ en el barrio ‘La Limonada’ en la ciudad de Guatemala. Es un área con una población alta, con muy pocos servicios públicos y sufre una terrible violencia pandillera y otros problemas de este ambito. ‘Vidas Plenas’ tiene tres academias dentro de este barrio, que ofrecen apoyo educacional y almuerzos para niños y jóvenes. Buscan apoyo en el área de enseñanza (de valores, inglés, deportes, manualidades y música) y en el área de psicología y trabajo social. También buscan a alguien para ayudar en la administración de su programa de becas, que apoya a los jóvenes a seguir con su educación.

Unterstütze das Projekt ‘Vidas Plenas’ im Stadtteil ‘La Limonada’ von Guatemala City. Das dicht bevölkerte Viertel verfügt über geringe öffentliche Dienste, eine mangelhafte Infrastruktur und der Alltag in ‚La Limonada‘ ist geprägt von Bandenkriminalität, Gewalt und Drogen. ‚Vidas Plenas‘ hat drei Zentren eingerichtet, in denen Unterricht, Mittagstische und weitere soziale Dienste angeboten werden. Das Projekt braucht Unterstützung im Unterrichten verschiedener Fächer (Englisch, Sport, Handarbeit, Musik, christliche Werte) sowie in der psychologischen Beratung und Sozialarbeit. Es wird auch administrative Unterstützung bei der Koordination der Stipendienprogramme gesucht, damit Jugendliche ihre Ausbildung zu Ende führen können.
