Joy is on a Stride placement until the end of May. She is based in Santo Domingo, using her studies and experience in art to support and develop materials for two projects: La Orquídea (The Orchid), which works with adults with disabilities, to help them to develop skills to live more independently; and Vida en Abundancia (Life in Abundance) project, ‘skills for life’, working with children with learning disabilities.
